Matttia McCarthy-Gunera
A New Real
A New Real brought together an audience of collectors, creatives, and curious minds for an immersive exploration of shifting realities.
Across the exhibition, Mattia McCarthy-Gunera presented a series of works that blurred the boundaries between the physical and the constructed. Guests moved through the BLU Gallery space where 90’s references, Black & White textures, and speculative landscapes created a continuous dialogue between what is seen and what is felt.
The opening night unfolded as both a social and sensory experience—conversations sparked naturally between the works, with each piece offering a new point of entry into Gunera’s evolving visual language.
The atmosphere balanced intimacy and intrigue, inviting visitors to slow down, question perception, and engage beyond the surface.
Working alongside our editorial partners, the exhibition went on to be featured in The London Standard weekly print run; promoted to its 500,000 daily readers.
A special thank you to our partners at 1800 Tequila & Noam
